When there is an air layer on the back of the glass wool board, the sound absorption effect is similar to that of the glass wool board without air layer of the same thickness. Especially, the sound absorption function of medium and low frequency will go forward more greatly than that of the material on the hard bottom. The sound absorption coefficient will increase with the thickness of the air layer, but the effect will not be significant when it is increased to a certain value.
